Dance Staff

HAZEL SOMMERVILLE - HEAD OF TAP DEPARTMENT (AISTD, ATCL)

Training & Teaching:

Hazel trained at the Millennium Musical Theatre College and holds her associate teaching exams in Tap, Modern Musical Theatre, Speech and Drama and Freestyle/Street Dance. Hazel is a great, fun loving member of the GSPA staff who always draws the best out of our students.

Choreography:

Her choreography experience includes West Side Story, Gigi, Me and My Girl and Fame whilst in her home land of Scotland, the British Gymnastic Championships and various Theatre and Stage Schools throughout the UK

Performing:

Her previous performance experience includes dancing for Jazz Art Uk Dance Company on tour including the Edinburgh Festival, Pantomimes for ITV Scotland, several Musical Theatre Productions and various schools documentaries and promotional DVD’s.

NATACHA COX - HEAD OF PRIMARY DEPARTMENT

Training:

B.L.A Theatre School, London/Renolds Performing Arts College, Kent

Teaching:

Natacha has been teaching for Laura since 2006 and since then has achieved her FDI Modern with the ISTD. As head of our Primary Department Natacha is in charge of all our Teddy Bear, Preparatory and Primary classes making sure that our youngest students are getting the most out of their classes from the very start. Natacha has a fantastic sense of fun in class and a lovely rapport with all the students in the school.

MEGAN LEE - ASSISTANT

Megan has been a student of Laura's for 6 years and is now taking her first steps to becoming a teacher by taking on the role of Teaching Assistant on a Saturday morning.

Megan is a very talented and dedicated dancer who is on our Senior Professional Course taking 7 classes per week. She works well with our younger pupils alongside Miss Natacha to help
