Alex Freeman BA (Hons) - Head of Drama
Training:
Alex studied Drama and Theatre Arts at Univesity of Birmingham, and graduated in 2005. While he was there he worked with renowned vocal coach Neil Swain, Complicite director Doug Rintoul, and studied Directing under Dr Brian Crowe. He also has a Platinum Award in Stage Combat.
Directing:
Alex has directed a national tour of the Shelagh Stephenson play Five Kinds of Silence, and also a recent production of the musical Rent. He also ran a theatre company for a period of time, which involved producing four shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Performance:
Alex has performed in dozens of plays and musicals including Mr Samsa in Berkoff's Metamorphosis at the Edinburgh Fringe, George in Strange Orchestra, Seth in Cold Comfort Farm, The Scarecrow in Wizard of Oz, Eddie in A Slice of Saturday Night, Fred in Smokey Joe's Cafe, and Benny in Guys and Dolls as well as a TIE tour of Aladdin playing both Aladdin and the Genie.

Michelle studied at The University of Leeds where she gained her degree in Drama and Communication Studies.
