ROSETTE TEDDY BEAR BALLET & TAP

This class is aimed at our youngest dancers aged 3 & 4 yrs.  Students are encouraged to bring their favourite teddy or doll to class and our very own teddy is used throughout the excercises.  This class is a great introduction to dance and movement.

PREPARATORY, PRIMARY & GRADE 1 BALLET

This classical style of expressive movement has something to offer for everyone. Ballet has a technique which is the foundation of all dance, improving posture, grace and strengthening the whole body.  This discipline is vital for any student wishing to pursue a professional career in dance.  The IDTA exam syllabus is followed and exams are taken every February.

PREPARATORY, PRIMARY & GRADE 1 TAP

Tap is as popular today as it was in the heyday of the great Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly musicals. Shows such as 42nd Street and Crazy For You, and the more recent Stomp and Tap Dogs highlight the great diversities of style and music in tapping. The IDTA exam syllabus is followed and exams are taken every February.

MODERN JAZZ

Modern Jazz is a fun, high energy class based on the Jazz style often seen on the stages of musical productions and is known for its theatrical qualities. The style uses travelling steps, high kicks, leaps and turns which all need strength and flexibility. This is a highly energetic dance style using the IDTA Exam syllabus.  Classes are available from age 4+.

 PRIMARY STREET DANCE

This class is a fun energetic class using current chart music with extremely popular Street dance moves.  The IDTA medal exam syllabus is followed and classes are available from age 4+.
